Arakwal NP (Byron Bay) Accommodation

Highlights: Created in 2001 as the result of an historic agreement with the Byron Bay Arakwal Aboriginal community, Arakwal National Park protects important natural and cultural heritage and is co-managed with the traditional owners.
Activities: Enjoy 3 km of secluded unpatrolled beach backed by coastal heath, or a tour of Cape Byron Lighthouse at the nearby Cape Byron State Conservation Area.  
Parking fees ($3 for 4 hours) are charged at Cosy Corner carpark, which is just outside the park in Cape Byron State Conservation Area. Annual pass holders do not need to pay this fee.
Access: 2 km south-east of Byron Bay township along Tallow Beach Road.
