Historic Middlebrook Station has been run by the Henderson Family since 1908. Middlebrook consists of 5000 acres of undulating basalt country, and is a peaceful and relaxed environment. Our unique 70 year old woolshed, located in the homestead garden is the venue for any occasion.
Middlebrook Station has stylish, modern accommodation for up to 24 guests. The peaceful surrounds are ideal for a relaxing retreat. We have: 6 Queen Size rooms, 6 Twin/Share Rooms. Accommodation features: Central fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 dining/sitting rooms with wonderful views, Wool doonas, Electric Blankets, Hairdryers, Reverse cycle air conditioning, Meals can be arranged if needed or you can bring your own, Laundry with dryers for guest's convenience. All linen and towels supplied

Scone is located in the scenic Upper Hunter Valley, approx. 3 hours north west of Sydney. Middlebrook Station is approx. 12 minutes drive north west of Scone and only 2 hours from Newcastle. Ideally located within a short distance of many attractions including: Barrington Tops National Park, Burning Mountain, Towarri National Park Wash Pool Picnic Grounds, Lake Glenbawn, also in close proximity to Horse Studs and wineries.

Things to do:

Attractions at Middlebrook include: Working kelpie sheep dogs, Vintage machinery, a 1939 plane and T Model Ford 'Whistling Dixie'. We run local tours and offer the perfect venue for fly ins, car and motor cycle clubs, coach and general interest groups. Enjoy the surrounding countryside from the large front deck. Bush walks and a quiet spot on the creek makes for a tranquil stay

Middlebrook Station can provide great local tours. Tours are available to Burning Mountain, local wineries, horse studs, local Museums, Lake Glenbawn and many more interesting places. The Upper Hunter is surrounded by many National Parks. Morning and afternoon tea plus a BBQ lunch is provided on our tours. We can tailor a trip to suit your needs. Tours to horse studs and wineries can be pre booked.
