Lavender Cottage is fully self contained with Lavenderluscious Day Spa available on site. Enter Lavender Cottage via the sunroom into a lovely lounge/dining area with beautiful parquetry floors, next to this is the eclectic country kitchen with 900 wide Ilve oven, traditional wood stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, Smeg dishwasher and everything you need to cook up a storm. As just part of the treats we offer, we provide a generous breakfast basket for the first morning of your stay and a weekend paper delivered to your driveway. You can even book a massage on site by a qualified therapist.
Curiosity then leads you to the gorgeously warm and cosy lounge room with Jotul slow Combustion Wood Fire and comfy sofas, television, video player and DVD player, selection of videos, books, magazines, board games, puzzles and cards. Chill out to your hearts content or collapse happily after a terrific bushwalk or game of golf.
Travel up the beautiful timber staircase to the 2 spacious bedrooms with one very comfortable queen size bed in each with soft fluffy doonas. Traditionally classic bathroom with deep claw foot cast iron bath (which retains heat for ages!) pedestal basin and separate shower. Naturally we provide essentials such as a hairdryer and soft towels.
Outside Lavender Cottage: Whispering Pines create a quiet, mystical feel that make you feel so far away from stress. Cabana (which the kids love to take as their own playhouse!) with Hooded BBQ (great for a roast) and outdoor table setting.

Beautiful cottage with 2 queen bedrooms and 2 queen sofa beds in 2 lounge areas, sleeps 6 maximum. 2 bedrooms have plenty of space for a cot, we have one portacot available.
Our unique feature is massages can be booked on site by qualified therapists to enhance your relaxation further. We pride ourselves in providing your comfortable and cosy home from home - many of our guests simply don't want to leave!
Full kitchen with Ilve 900 wide oven, and most importantly a dishwasher. All linen is provided along with toiletries in the bathroom and breakfast basket for the first morning of your stay. Late checkout of 12pm is a lovely treat too

Local Attractions:

Blackheath village has some wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy, the bushwalks in the area are incredible and there are many tourist attractions to visit and enjoy in the mountains as well as Jenolan Caves. Horseriding also available about 15 mins drive away

Getting There:

Take the train to Blackheath and a cab/walk from there We recommend driving though so you can fully explore the beauty of the mountains.
Travelling from Sydney along the Great Western Highway, go to Blackheath Village. At the lights in Blackheath Village turn right into Govetts Leap Road. Travel over 1km down theroad, the Cottage is No.201 on the right, it has green and purple fence posts and a Lavender Cottage sign over the driveway.
