Historic Retreat is a large house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a shared kitchen with all amenities,
lounge room, formal dining and breakfast areas, large relaxing outdoor settings to unwind from the hustle and bustle of holidaying. The Kitchen is fully equipped to please any serious chef. Breakfast is inclusive, however if you desire to prepare lunch and/or dinner, the kitchen is yours to use. The Kitchen is beautifully set out with all the mod cons. Dishwasher installed to take care of the cleaning!! The living area is large and comfortable, furnished with 1950's period style furniture and memorabilia from the surrounding areas.
Historic Retreat's proximity to the attractions of Litchfield National Park make it the perfect spot to stay while on holiday.

This deluxe room comes with a king bed that can be seperated into two king single beds and a single bed for a third person. This bedroom is the finest in the residence and has a real old world charm and tastefully placed antiques. It also has an ensuite that can be used exclusively for yourself for an extra charge of $10 per/night or you will share with room 2. The linen is professionally cleaned and the allergy free bedding coupled with the feather down pillows will only add to your overall comfort. TV, in-house video, fan and air-conditioning are standard for each room delivering a fully serviced environment. If the natural environment is what you require, simply open all the louvres and both the front and rear gardens views appear and all from your bed. A tropical silver service breakfast is inclusive with all rooms and is served by your own personal resindent "butler", yes butler. Guests can use the kitchen where complimentary Tea/coffe is available when ever you want it, milk is supplied in the guest fridge. Bed turning down service at night will be conducted by the butler with mint chocolates on your pillows.

Batchelor (Gateway to Litchfield National Park), is 98 kms south of Darwin city and takes approximately 1 hr 15 min's to drive from there. We recommend you allow 90 minutes for comfortable driving.
