HORSE RIDING: At Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort our specialty is horse riding. From the very beginner to the most experienced rider, we have a horse for you. We ride twice a day (9.30am and 2.00pm) and stop for refreshments on the banks of the Susan River. It’s a two hour experience you’ll never forget.
WATER SPORTS ON LAKE McLEAN: Strap on a ski, kneeboard, join a friend on the tube, kayak, or float through the air under our parasail - whatever your pleasure, you’ll enjoy it on our very own private lake.

Getting There:

BY AIR: Daily direct flights from Brisbane and Sydney to Hervey Bay Airport. On arrival guests will be met by our courtesy vehicle (subject to prior arrangement).
BY ROAD: We are a pleasant, three hour drive north of Brisbane. Take the Fraser Coast Highway (Hervey Bay Road) from Maryborough and look for the Susan River signs 14kms from Maryborough.
BY COACH OR RAIL: Guests will be met by our courtesy vehicle at either the Hervey Bay or Maryborough coach terminals (subject to prior arrangement).
