Bruny Island is the place to be for a holiday full of fun and adventure. The Captain Cook Caravan Park's accommodation includes camping, powered/unpowered sites, on-site caravans, cabins and brand new units.
The park's accommodation is family-friendly with modern amenities. Accommodation at the Captain Cook Caravan Park includes full use of our facilities including numerous BBQ sites. Inclement weather is no problem as there are several wet weather shelters scattered around the park for the use of visitors.

The park has 6 cabins offering self-contained accommodation, including 1 wheelchair accessible cabin. Cabins sleep up to 7 people in two bedrooms, with a Queen sized bed in one room and a Double & 3 single bunk beds in another room. The cabins come complete with a fully equipped kitchen (including microwave), bathroom facilities, air conditioning / heat pump and also a 51cm TV. All bedding and towels are provided.

Ol'Kid Fishing Charters operates daily fishing trips from the park and Bruny Island Charters runs daily cruises exploring the island's coastline.
Local Attractions:
Bruny Island is the perfect holiday destination for all ages. There's so much to do and see, with bushwalking through National Park, cruising the Bruny coastline, fishing, fine food and wine, beaches, history and culture.
Getting There:
Take the Southern Outlet from Hobart and travel for approx. 30 to 40 minutes through the towns of Margate, Snug and Oyster Cove to Kettering. Here you board the vehicle ferry MV Mirambeena for the 15 minute crossing to Roberts Point on Bruny Island. Travel south for another forty minutes and you will find yourself in magnificent Adventure Bay.
