You’ll be sharing the serenity of the majestic Tuart trees with kangaroos, possums, a wide variety of native birdlife, and only up to 10 other lucky guests.
The property, previously a grand private residence, is situated on conservation-zoned Tuart and Peppermint woodland, adjacent to the south-western end of the Tuart Forest National Park. The 1200m2 home has been renovated, upgraded and converted to provide superb accommodation for you and your partner, and best of all, as we said, there are only 6 rooms or around 12 guests, so you'll find plenty of space to yourself to enjoy it.
The Guest accommodation property is better than a bed and breakfast or a guest house so you might call it a mini boutique resort, features: Covered Porte Coche lobby entrance; chandeliered Lobby; The Morning Room (for breakfast); spacious Guest Lounge with wood fire; indoor pool with infra-red sauna; and wide lawns shaded by huge Tuart trees, large guest BBQ, microwave and fridge under cover.
Accommodation in each of the 6 guest rooms is different from the others, and all feature private bathrooms (1 with spa), individually controlled reverse-cycle air conditioning, outside entry, WA-made 5 star queen or twin bed mattresses, Sheridan covers, LCD TV with DVD. All rooms have sliding glass doors facing onto north-aspect verandahs or courtyards with views through the Tuarts and farmland to the nearby Wonnerup Inlet, yet only 5 minutes drive into Busselton

Business Facilities:

Whilst we don't have business facilities as such, the property would be ideally suited to hold a mini-conference or business meeting for up to 12 in-house guests (in 6 rooms) and up to around 10 others not accommodated here. The guest lounge is very spacious and well-suited to hold meetings, etc, and there is plenty of space in the under-cover pool area and outside on the lawn. This would especially suit organisations with a "green" aspect, as the property is in the trees and is currently seeking a "GREEN STAR" accreditation.

Car Parking:

Parking is available on-site. 2 bays are covered, 5 are not. There is also a 2 bay secure garage with auto-door available at extra cost. There is plenty of room to park a bus, RV or caravan, off-street, as well.

Local Attractions:

Inn the Tuarts, is the ideal place to get away from it all, yet still be so close to all that the Busselton/Margaret River region has to offer. A holiday is hardly a holiday, without being able to lounge around the pool. Here you can enjoy the pool area all year round as it's inside, but with huge windows facing north towards the lawn and views.
Being next door to the Tuart Forest National Park, there are a number of walks or bike rides you can take, from just around the block to several k's into the Tuart woodland, by the Wonnerup esturary system, and the Sabina River. Birds abound and you'll probably see Osprey and Whistling Kites, maybe a blue wren, one of many types of parrots and waterbirds.
Play a game of Boule on the lawn. Bring a putter and practice your green skills, or just stroll around the lawns and gardens.

Other activities abound in WA's holiday playgound:
* Tasting - wine, cheese, beer, chocolate, ice-cream, muesli, berries and much more local produce.
* Enjoy some of the kilometres of sandy beaches of nearby Geographe Bay.
* Visit the caves near Yallingup and Margaret River, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, Busselton Jetty (closed for renovations until 2010), Boranup Karri Forest
* Fishing, boating, cycling, surfing, walking, visit galleries, the list just goes on...

Getting There:

Finding us is very easy....as Inn the Tuarts is the ONLY accommodation - Inn the Tuarts.
From Perth via Bunbury - approx 2 hours: Travel south on the brand new freeway to Bunbury, and follow the signs through the big roundabout to Busselton and Augusta. The dual carriageway continues south for around 25 km, then about 3 km after passing the turnoff to Capel, TURN RIGHT into the clearly marked Ludlow Tuart Forest Tourist Drive. After 12km travel past the Layman Rd roundabout with Wonnerup House turn off. CONTINUE STRAIGHT AHEAD on the Tuart Drive for a further 1km, then TURN RIGHT into Rushleigh Rd. INN THE TUARTS GUEST LODGE, is 190m on the left. It is not visible from the road so travel slowly down the paved driveway, keeping left, and enter under the covered Porte Coche.
From: Busselton/(Margaret River) - approx 5 min: Travel North west on the dual carriageway Bussell Highway towards Bunbury and Perth for approx 4 km from the big roundabout. TURN LEFT into the clearly marked Ludlow Tuart Forest Tourist Drive. Travel north west for a further 1- 1.5km passing Tall Timber Drive into the Inlet Park subdivision before TURNING LEFT in to Rushleigh Rd.
